CSH uses Google Apps to allow teachers and students to easily communicate and collaborate with each other. Google Apps integrates several of Google's applications, such as Google Docs and Gmail.
Google Apps includes:
Gmail for sending & receiving email messages
Google Docs for working on documents, spreadsheets and presentations
Google Calendar for managing schedules and appointments
Check out the Google Apps Learning Center to learn more about Google Apps.
Also check out the Google Apps FAQ web page, which answers many common questions about Google Apps and how it's used at CSH.
Each of Google's online applications has built-in help. If you're not sure how to do something, or want to learn what features are available, look for the Help link.
One really important thing to remember... your Google Apps account is owned by the school. If you misuse it, you may be suspended from using it, which could prevent you from being able to complete class assignments. Try not to use it for personal email messages, or for anything you might want to keep after you graduate.
Talk to your homeroom teacher to get your email address and initial log in password. The first time you log in, Google will ask you to agree to their terms of service, and then make you change your password.
